Where can I download the app?

How do I calm Amaru down?

  • Complete any Self-care Goal. Tap your Goal Gem Amulet to see your goals and edit them if desired. Log the goals complete as you finish them. Completing your first goal of the day will make your Aura grow and calm Amaru’s anxiety! Amaru will also get less anxious over time.

Why doesn’t Amaru like me?

  • Amaru has been on a scary journey and your relationship is still new! Come back each day and feed and pet Amaru to increase your Bond. You’ll notice Hearts appear on the screen when your Bond is growing. After a few days, Amaru will warm up to you and become more affectionate.

I've fed Amaru, but he’s still just staring at me. I can’t play with him or take him exploring. What should I do?

  • You probably just need to feed Amaru more. Amaru can eat about 3 to 4 pieces of food before they are satisfied.

Amaru never wakes up or never has energy. What am I doing wrong?

  • The game comes with Sleep and Wake Time Settings to support good sleep hygiene, and these control when Amaru has Energy to play minigames. If Amaru has no Energy, it is likely between his Sleep Time and Wake Time. Sleep and Wake Times Settings can be found in the Settings Menu in the bottom left of the Title Screen. Edit them to best fit your sleep schedule.

I've encountered a bug. Who do I send that info to?

  • You can either post the bug in our Discord’s feedback channel or email it to info@sixwingstudios.com. Provide as much info as you can about what happened.

I've backed the IndieGogo or Kickstarter. How do I receive my rewards?

  • You should have been emailed login information. If you have not gotten this email, email info@sixwingstudios.com. We send these emails out as needed every two weeks or so.

The login screen is telling me invalid password but I know I am putting in the right thing. How do I fix this?

  • You can try resetting your password using the Forgot Password button from the log in screen. Be sure to double check your spelling as there is not a confirmation line.

I've bought the Golden Key, but it has reappeared in the corner. What’s going on?

  • This is a known bug we are working on a solution for. Usually restarting the app with restore the purchase as long as you are online. If that doesn’t work.

    1.) Restart your device
    2.) Start Amaru
    3.) Tap the Settings Cog on the Title Screen
    4.) Tap Account and Log in if you are not
    5.) Tap Restore Purchases

I'm received rewards via Kickstarter or Indiegogo, but the Golden Key has reappeared in the corner. What’s wrong?

  • This is a known bug we are working on a solution for. Usually restarting the app with restore the purchase as long as you are online. If that doesn’t work.

One of my daily goals did not auto complete when I did it. What should I do?

  • When a goal does not auto complete, or it is a goal that can't such as a custom goal, you can manually log the goal as complete. Tap the Amulet, then tap the goal you would like to log as complete and hit Log Complete. If you think a goal should be auto completing but won't, report it to nathaniel@sixwingstudios.com.

I can't hear any audio. How do I fix this?

  • This is typically a problem on iPhone devices. The app relies on your phone's ringer not being set to silent. If you do not hear any audio, double check your phone's audio settings.

Why isn't the game free?

  • We have a team of 5 full-time employees working to build and support the game along with additional part-time employees and contractors. Sales of the Golden Key and other in-app purchases help us pay our bills and keep the lights on so we can keep bringing Amaru to the world. The game contains no ads and we do not sell your data, which are the ways most "free" games make their money.

I’ve run out of food and don’t know how to get more. Help!

  • If you’re seeing that foods in your food tray read x0, you do not have any more of this type of food. Tap the Pantry button in the middle of the food tray. Foods with Stars in the top-right corner indicate these foods are in your tray ready to be fed to Amaru. Foods without stars are in your pantry. You can tap foods to move them between your Pantry and your food tray. Remove foods with x0 and replace them with foods of which you have at least 1.

    If you are completely out of food, complete some Self-care Goals. You’ll notice blinking sparkles appear in the background. These are Gratitude Glints. Tap them to receive food and Beads, an in-game currency that you can spend in the Shop to buy more food. You can also earn Food and Beads by playing Minigames or sending Amaru to Explore.

I bought the Spooky or Winter Pack, but nothing changed. What happened?

  • Tap the Paw in the Center of the Screen and tap Travel. Then Tap Spooky Grove or Winter Grove to travel to the new location!
